In a series of posts on X, the 28-year-old artist slammed Don Jazzy, the founder of the label, and Tega Oghenejobo, the company’s chief operating officer.
Crayon described Don Jazzy as his boy, and directed harsh criticism at Oghenejobo, calling him a criminal.
“Don jazzy na my boy!!!!!! Una dey maddddd!!?? Shayennnnn sharayyyyyy333,” the singer wrote, adding “Tega highest criminal!!!!!!!!! God go punish all una mama and una papa me.”
The singer also made a serious claim that he lost his mother because of issues related to the record label, although he did not give further details to explain the statement.
“Una collected 200 million dollars, no give me shishi!! Una wan use delay payment kill me. My eye red!! My mama died because of una!! Heads go roll!,” he said.
Crayon also declared that Mavin Records was “going down,” adding that he would not collaborate with his colleagues, Rema, in the future and accusing him of taking away his spotlight.
He wrote, “Mavin is going down!!!!!! Rema for the next 100 years no feature. You stole my star from me. Yeah I took tha shiiiiii backkkkk hoeeeeerrrr!!!!! Snakkkkkkkeeeeeesssssssss”.
The singer has left Mavin Records after sharing contact information linked to Olodum Entertainment, suggesting a possible new direction in his career.
