The Rivers State-born artiste, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, had earlier hinted that he embraced Islam, a move that caught many fans off guard at the time.
However, in a recent post on Snapchat, Omah Lay announced a change in his spiritual beliefs.
He said that although he enjoyed reading the Quran, he feels a stronger connection with the Bible.
“Back to the Bible. I enjoyed reading the Quran but I relate more to this,” he wrote, hinting his return to Christianity.
His statement has triggered mixed reactions online with some fans commending him for being open about his beliefs and respecting different religions, others questioned what may have influenced his decision.
KanyiDaily recalls that Omah Lay recently reacted to critics who flooded his DMs after he posted daring photos of himself wearing only underwear.
