During an Instagram Live session, Burna Boy gave his side of the club incident involving DJ Tunez.
He claimed he only slapped the DJ twice and insisted that no one from his team laid hands on him.
Burna also said he expected Wizkid, whom he referred to as his boss, to reach out privately and calm things down, but instead Wizkid reacted online.
The singer went on to mock Wizkid, saying he had expected a stronger response in real life rather than words on the internet.
He suggested that Wizkid’s strength only shows online.
Reacting in a series of posts on X, Wizkid mocked Burna for going live to explain himself, saying the videos from the incident already tell the full story.
According to him, everyone had already seen what happened during the clash.
Wizkid also took a swipe at Burna personally, then advised him to focus on his life, his wellbeing, and the people around him, while keeping faith first.
He wrote, “Ogbafia dey for ground. Oil dey ur yansh.
“Explanation. I tweet u carry camera enter Live dey explain. Fucking idiot. Videos dey na. Everybody see u still collect one ode—low vibration ass guy.
“Live life. Take care of yourself and your people. Keep God first. That’s gangsta”.
The fresh exchange follows reports from the previous day that Burna Boy and some members of his crew were involved in a confrontation with DJ Tunez.
