Buba Galadima made this known on Monday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
According to him, the party is set to submit its membership list to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on May 5 or 6, a move he said would put the party on track for its next steps.
Galadima also confirmed that the party has already agreed on zoning the presidential slot to the south, stressing that the decision is final.
He said, “We have zoned the party’s presidential candidature to the south. No missing votes. We’ve zoned it to the south.”
When asked how the party plans to choose its candidate, he made it clear that conducting primaries is the current priority, rather than settling for a consensus option.
