Oris Ogala is currently seeking to unset Governor Alex Otti and become the next governor of Abia State.
The actress had earlier shared her bank details on Facebook, appealing to members of the public to support her political campaign financially.
She told her supporters that every contribution, regardless of the amount, would be appreciated.
A Facebook user who identified himself as a marketing executive donated N1,000 to the campaign and publicly announced his contribution.
Ogala thanked him for the donation but stressed that she believed his action was intended to make fun of her political ambition.
The situation later took a different turn when the man asked Doris Ogala to return the N1,000.
He publicly tagged the actress and gave her 24 hours to refund the money, saying her response did not reflect the character expected of a governor.
“Doris Ogala, You have 24 hrs to refund my donation Send me back my money!! This is not a character of a Governor,” the man wrote.
In her response, Ogala said she had prayed for the man and asked God to repay him in the same manner.
“After all my prayer for you. May God refund you in your own coin,” she said.
