The family of Dan Orbih, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice-Chairman for the South-South, has announced his death.

Dan Orbih died on Monday, August 31, according to a statement released by his family on Tuesday in Benin and signed by Francis Orbih.

The family expressed sadness over his death, describing him as a beloved brother, husband, father, and uncle.

Orbih is survived by his wife, Florence, his children, Winifred and Mildred, as well as his siblings and other relatives.

The family appealed to friends, relatives and well-wishers to keep them in their prayers as they come to terms with the loss.

At this difficult time, we ask family members, friends, and well-wishers to remember the entire family in their prayers as we mourn this painful loss,” the statement said.

It also said information about his burial and other funeral arrangements would be made public at the appropriate time.

Dan Orbih was a former chairman of the PDP in Edo State before becoming the party’s National Vice-Chairman for the South-South.
