A few days back, Tonto Dikeh wrote a tweet to
whom is believed to be addressed to fellow Future award nominee, Ini Edo. While most online blogging
sites mentioned Ini Edo as the recipient, a few others had divergent
views and some used the headline”Tonto Dikeh calls Rita Dominic desperate old cargo” If you dont know what am talking about, click HERE
This confusion didn’t go well with Rita’s fans who felt
she couldn’t have been referring to Rita considering Rita isn’t nominated
for the 2012 Future awards. Moreover, Rita Dominic openly chastised Ini
Edo for mechanically influencing her online votes for the Arik Actress of
the year award category during the African Film Festival 2011….. Obviously shocked that her tweet was insinuated to be directed at the
wrong person, Tonto Dikeh quickly apologized to Rita Dominic on twitter. I guess obviously the tweet is directed at Ini Edo then, since Tonto didn’t say anything about her.
