Tia And Tamera Talk Motherhood On Essense Magazine

They rose to fame as teen stars on hit sitcom Sister Sister, but now they’re all grown up. Our favourite twins, Tia and Tamera Mowry are Essence magazine’s latest cover stars.

Both married with children, the duo show that the years (all 34 of them) have treated them well. Beyond posing it up, the pair dish on juggling their careers with parenthood, husbands, and other projects – including their hit Style Network show – Tia & Tamera – which has just been renewed for a third season.

TIA ON BEING MATERNAL:

TAMERA ON BEING A MOMMY:

I’ve always wanted to be a mother. I’m a nurturer, a girly girl. I know my priorities: God, family and work … When those things are in check, the work will flow.

TIA ON REALITY TV:

We didn’t want to do a reality show if we couldn’t be real—if I couldn’t be myself. There is no ‘evil twin’ syndrome, though we do have evil moments…
