Some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, were pictured drinking heavily during the ongoing presidential and national assembly elections in the eastern part of the country.
IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in 2015, called for election boycott following a demand he made to the federal government.
Last week, the IPOB leader called of the election boycott, saying that the groups preconditions and terms have been met. He told the IPOB members that they can now participate in the elections.
At the time he called of the election boycott, many Igbo, particularly the youths, who associated themselves with IPOB activities did not have the voters cards to enable them vote for candidates of their choice.
So while others are at their polling unit exercising their civil rights, some IPOB members are whiling away their time with beer bottles.
