Former President, Goodluck Jonathan celebrated his 62nd birthday on Wednesday, and Bayelsa State governor-elect David Lyon was in attendance.
Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, hosted David Lyon who was accompanied by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva and Lyon’s Deputy, Sen. Biobarakuma Degi Eremienyo, and other members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
KanyiDaily had reported that Goodluck Jonathan may be suspended from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over his alleged romance with the APC which contributed to the defeat of his party in last Saturday’s governorship election in Bayelsa State
PDP leaders are reportedly planning to punish those who worked against its interest during the governorship election in Bayelsa because it believes that Jonathan’s indifference gave the APC an easy ride to power.
