BREAKING: Chaos Inside Abuja Courtroom As DSS Attempts To Re-Arrest Sowore [Video]

Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday morning attempted to re-arrest convener of RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore, who was just released from detention yesterday (Thursday) night after spending 124 days in jail.

In videos posted by Sahara Reporters, Sowore could be seen resisting an attempt to re-arrest him, with help from others who got in the way of the DSS officers.

The ongoing trial on Friday, December 6, 2016, was disrupted during the physical struggle which turned rowdy.

Sahara Reporters, founded by Sowore, alleged that the officers brutalized a journalist in the course of the struggle and forced out presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu.

The media organisation reports that Sowore, a former presidential candidate, has now refused to leave the courtroom as the court has been sealed up.

Watch the video below:

The attempt to re-arrest Sowore comes barely 24 hours after his release at exactly 7:15 pm on Thursday, hours after Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja expressed displeasure over their continued detention by the agency.
