Man Seeks Justice For Brother-In-Law Who Was Beaten To Death By Naval Officers Over N250

A mechanical engineer Collins Osagie was allegedly beaten to death by naval officers stationed at Naval Base AfroMedia Bus stop Along Lagos-Badagry Express Way.

A man who claimed to be the brother-in-law of the deceased said the incident happened on Monday, August 17, 2020, when late Osagie was trying to settle a dispute between the naval officer and a spare parts seller.

According to him, while the deceased was trying between the two men were quarreling over N250, the naval officers turn on him and allegedly beat him to death.

The spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, has confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation has commenced into the matter.

Sports broadcaster, Nnamdi Obanya, who met with a relative of the deceased, shared photos of the deceased man and also what the bereaved relative told him.

KanyiDaily had also reported how a 23-year-old security guard, Sunday Ezra, was beaten to death over a missing phone at the New Trafford Hotel and Suites in Bauchi State.
