The Aide-de-camp to Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki on Thursday collapsed during the governor’s inauguration speech for second term in office.
KanyiDaily had earlier reported that Governor Obaseki and his deputy, Philip Shaibu, were sworn in at the Tennis Court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
In a video which captured Obaseki’s inaugural speech, the ADC was seen feeling uncomfortable behind the Governor before he suddenly collapsed while other security operatives ran to his rescue.
The Governor who was giving his speech, initially didn’t notice what was happening behind him, but later turned briefly and then continued his speech.
Some social media users are suggesting that the ADC collapsed as a result of the face mask he was wearing and condition of the venue where the ceremony held
