Nollywood Actor, Ugezu J Ugezu has taken to social media to question why Nigerian parents these days don’t flog their kids to instil discipline in them.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Ugezu wondered why parents who were flogged as kids won’t repeat the cycle of discipline on their children.
He asked whether such parents treating their children like “oyibo” are being fair, thereby denying them the “reality of Africa.”
“All of us that our parents flogged mercilessly are not flogging our children today. We are now treating our children as Oyibo.
“Are we being fair to these children, denying them the reality of Africa? just asking,” Ugezu wrote.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has slammed school teachers who punish students for speaking local Nigerian languages which is described as ‘vernacular’.
