“Stop Using Feminism To Justify Your Wickedness” – Chimamanda Adichie Tells Women [Video]

Globally celebrated Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has shared her thought about Nigerian women brand of feminism.

In a recent interview, Chimamanda was heard advising young Nigerian women to stop using feminism to justify their wickedness.

According to her, these days a lot of Nigerian women hide under the umbrella of feminism just to be mean and nasty.

“I often say to young Nigerian feminists ‘Please do not use feminism to justify your wickedness’.

“Because some of these young women when I’m talking to them they sound really mean, and I say, ‘you know what? this is not feminism, you’re just really nasty’.”
