Nigerian Singer, Chidinma Ekile Quits Secular Music, Becomes Gospel Music As She Turns 30

Chidinma Ekile has abandoned secular music to return to Gospel music as she turns 30.

Popular Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile has quit secular music to become a gospel minister as she celebrates her 30th birthday.

The singer made the announcement in a post shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, May 2, 2021 — on the occasion of her 30th birthday.

She wrote: “MY NAME IS MINISTER CHIDINMA EKILE. I’M A CRUSADER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS. I’M A CRUSADER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST”.

On her Instagram profile, the singer who rose to prominence in 2010 after she won the Project Fame West Africa as a 19-year-old, wrote: “I am an end-time Soldier. My message is Jesus.”

 

KanyiDaily recalls that popular US rapper, Kanye West had also told his fans that he has quit doing secular music and instead focus on Gospel.
