A 13-year-old boy simply identified as Ogaga, who was caught stealing alongside his friend Tomiwa, has confessed that he ventured into robbery after he lost both parents in Sapele, Delta state.
It was gathered that both teenagers were caught by residents stealing clothes from lines and footwear from doorsteps, after series of complaints of missing slippers and clothes.
During interrogation, Ogaga said that the loss of both parents distorted his life and forced him into robbery, promising to turn a new leaf if they were allowed to those to go scot-free.
When asked why he smokes, the teenager disclosed that he does that because of too much thinking about not having a father or a mother at a tender age.
