Fast-rising singer, Anthony Victor, popularly known as Victony, stood up from his wheelchair while performing at the concert of Afrobeats superstar, Davido, at Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.
KanyiDaily recalls that Victony was involved in a ghastly car accident in April 2021, and after undergoing a major operation, he was since then confined to a wheelchair.
During Davido’s concert on Friday, December 24, fans went wild when Victony miraculously stood up from his wheelchair and performed his hit single ‘Holy Father’ with Mayorkun.
Before he stood up, Victony was heard in a viral video saying, “For the first time, I want to perform Holy Father properly, okay? On my feet!”
Amid cheers and with assistance from Davido and another person on stage, the singer stood from his seat to perform. While this happened, Davido screamed, “Jesus is good.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy attended a Christmas party organized in Lagos by the Chairman of the United Bank for Africa, Tony Elumelu.
