“I Forgot To Tell Buhari I’m Running For President” – Moghalu Shades Tinubu, Umahi

Former presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Kingsley Moghalu has mocked his colleagues who are going to the presidential villa to tell President Muhammadu Buhari about their presidential ambition.

KanyiDaily recalls that on Monday, January 10, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu had visited Buhari to inform him of his intention to contest in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

Barely 24 hours after the visit, Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi also meet the President on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to inform him of his interest to run for the presidency in 2023.

Reacting on his Twitter page on Wednesday, Moghalu said he forgot to tell President Buhari of his intention to run for the presidency even though he had already informed Nigerians.

He wrote, “I forgot to inform President @Mbuhari that I am running for President. But I informed Nigerians, of whom he is one, so no wahala!”

Meanwhile, the Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu said he will consider contesting for the 2023 presidency if the APC zones its presidential ticket to the South-East region.
