Trey Songz Reacts As Basketball Player, Dylan Gonzalez Accuses Him Of Rαpe

American actor and singer, Trey Songz has reacted to a rape allegation made against him by an ex-University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) basketball player, Dylan Gonzalez.

Dylan Gonzalez had first accused Trey Songz of sexual assault in a Twitter post on December 31, 2021, where she alleged that the 37-year-old entertainer raped her at a “well-known hotel” in Las Vegas in the United States.

She had written, “Trey Songz is a rapist. Lord forgive me I couldn’t hold that in another year. See you in 2022.”

Dylan Gonzalez Accuses Trey Songz Of Rape

In a follow-up post via Instagram on Tuesday, Gonzalez claimed that Trey Songz raped her and left her with “unbearable” post-traumatic stress.

The basketball player said she is weighing legal actions, adding that she would not stop speaking up against the singer despite the criticisms coming her way.

She wrote, “With what seems like endlessly recurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well-known Las Vegas Hotel,

“I want to send my love, strength and hope to all who are victims of sexual assault and its fatal nature. You are not alone. I stand with you and encourage all those who have suffered abuse to speak out and come forward. Suppression of our voices only emboldens our oppressors, and you cannot heal what you do not reveal.

“At this time, I humbly request my privacy, consideration and compassion while I fully commit to pursue the best course of action and all of my legal options. Gracias Mi Gente, Dyl.”

Trey Songs Denies Rape Allegation

A representative for the singer responded told TMZ that Trey Songz is confident that he would be cleared of the allegations which is currently being investigated.

“Trey and his team are confident in the legal process and that there will be an abundance of exonerating information to come over the next few weeks,” TMZ reports.

Gonzalez’s legal team, George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell, have already told PEOPLE that they will be taking action against Songz in the coming weeks and are in the process of formally filing the litigation.

Vrabeck and Mitchell are also representing Jahaura Jeffries, who publicly identified herself and alleged that Trey Songz sexually assaulted her at a nightclub in Miami in 2018.

KanyiDaily had also reported how Trey Songz was arrested after he was seen engaging in a violent altercation with a police officer during the AFC Championship game in Kansa City, Missouri.
