Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Portable has taken to social media to react to the arrest of two of his colleagues, Zinoleesky and Mohbad, by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
KanyiDaily had earlier reported how Zinoleesky and Mohbad were arrested by NDLEA operatives who raided their apartment in the middle of the night without having a search warrant.
In a viral video, the two artists were seen being harassed and manhandled by men of the agency who claimed “some quantities of Cannabis and Molly that were recovered from their apartment and car.”
Reacting in a now-viral video shared on his Instagram page, Portable questioned the NDLEA operatives for involving private residents in search of drugs.
Warning that he has “charms”, the singer who spoke in the Yoruba language, threatened to use it to deal with anyone that tries to invade his residence in search of drugs.
He said, “Should we not smoke weed in our own houses anymore? Are you the one that built the bought the houses for us? Did you buy the land, did you pay for the foundation? Did you buy cement from Dangote?”
“Everyone should be careful. If you near my side, you go collect. My father was a hunter, I have jazz. We would beat ourselves to death.
“If anyone challenges me for smoking in my house, we would beat each other to death.”
Mohbad and Zinoleesky’s arrest comes a month after a comedian, De General was apprehended in another house raid and charged with three counts of trafficking tramadol and cannabis sativa.
