Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) commissioner, Alhaji Hashimu-Shehu Gazura has died in a fatal car accident in Kebbi State.
Gazura, who represented Gummi 2 Constituency at the Zamfara State House of Assembly, died on Yawuri Road in Kebbi state on Friday.
The Chairman of Zamfara House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Mansur Bungudu, who confirmed the sad incident in a statement on Saturday, said the deceased will be buried today according to Islamic rites.
Bungudu said, “He died yesterday (Friday) as a result of a ghastly motor accident on Yawuri Road in Kebbi state.
“The deceased’s funeral prayer is scheduled to be held at Gummi Emir’s Palace on Saturday at 11:00 am.”
