Nigerian Man Stabbed To Death By American Girlfriend One Week To His 28th Birthday

A 27-year-old Nigeran man, Christian Toby Obumseli has been killed by his girlfriend, Courtney Tailor, during a domestic dispute in their apartment in Miami, United States.

Tailor, who is a popular influencer with over 2 million followers on Instagram, was said to have stabbed the Nigerian to death one week before his 28th birthday.

It was gathered that Tailor is claiming that she is mentally ill to avoid going to jail but Toby’s family have resolved to go any length to seek justice for him.

Confirming the development, an elder brother of the victim, Jeff, has taken to his Instagram page to announce and mourn the brutal murder of Toby.

Jeff wrote, “I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this. It is with the heaviest heart I announce the murder of my younger brother, Christian (Toby) who was brutally killed on Sunday, a week from his 28th birthday — I’m truly at a loss for words. He didn’t deserve this.

“This is a lot to process. Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Your support is truly felt and appreciated during this devastating time. I ask the community to please pray for me and my family. Pray for strength for the long road ahead to justice.”

Miami Police officials said officers responded to a report of a man stabbed at the building, and upon arrival they found the 27-year-old victim, who was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police are calling the incident a domestic dispute and Tailor is being held for mental evaluation concerning the stabbing.
