The Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria GPBN, congratulates Nigerian children, and kids across the globe, on the occasion of the 2022 Children’s Day celebration.
In a Press Release by the Secretary of the association, Mr Femi Adeoya made available to newsmen, GPBN asserts that all over the world, May 27 of every year is set aside to celebrate children, and today in Nigeria, is marked by different events usually organized by state and local governments across the federation.
Parents and guardians also take out time to give their children a special treat on Children’s Day, which leaves our cities colorful every May 27th. Today, it is not different.
The statement adds: “This year while celebrating kids all over the world, we especially celebrate the Nigerian children. We also remark that the essence of Children’s Day is for adults and guardians to stand up to their sacred duty and ensure the wellbeing and proper upbringing of children.”
The association challenged every Nigerian adult and guardian to take full responsibility we owe these children. “The less every child is loved and cared for, the more endangered our society will become,” it adds.
“Therefore, as we commemorate this year’s Children’s Day, may we be reminded that our best gift to children is not what we buy for them, but the values we leave for and teach them,” the statement reads.
Happy Children’s Day to all Nigerian Children.
Happy Children’s Day to all African Children.
Happy Children’s Day to Children all over the world.
