President Muhammadu Buhari has been filmed cracking a joke with Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, during his state visit to Spain on Thursday.
While in Spain, Buhari was accompanied by several dignitaries including Former Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi who is now a Football Ambassador for the country.
Buhari, who also went with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare, also met up with some Nigerian contingents including Omeruo who plays for Leganes.
The defender dressed in a blue suit was all smiles as he shook Buhari’s hand and presented the President with a signed home and away 2021/22 Leganes jersey as well as a match ball.
When the footballer player wanted to pose for pictures with the president, Buhari asked him a funny question, “I hope you’re not taller than me?…” and everyone in the room burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that he’s tired of working six to seven hours a day due to his old age, saying he looks forward to his exit from office.
