Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy has revealed that American R&B star, Toni Braxton, gets 60% of the royalties of his last single ‘Last Last.’
The Nigerian singer disclosed this when answering questions of how the single came about while appearing on a podcast with American media personalities, Gillie Da King and Wallo Peeples.
Burna Boy said he always wanted to sample Toni Braxton’s 2000 R&B hit, ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ and he eventually got music producer, Chopsticks to make it happen with the instrumentals of ‘Last Last’.
The singer noted that although Toni Braxton gets 60% of the royalties from the single, he was fine with it as his only concern was making a great song.
KanyiDaily recalls that Burna Boy had recently performed one of his unreleased songs titled “For My Hand” featuring British singer, Ed Sheeran at the Wembley Stadium in London.
