Reekado Banks Announces The Death Of His Mother, Intercedes For Prayers

Nigerian singer, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, popularly known as Reekado Banks, has taken to social media to announce the death of his mother, Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon.

The singer, who made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday, September 27, called on the public to keep the family of Solomon in prayers during “this difficult time”

Banks, who did not disclose what led to the death of his mother, said she is survived by her husband as well as her children and grandchildren.

“It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidant and friend. Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon is survived by her husband, sisters, children and grandchildren.

“We implore the general public to keep us in prayers at this difficult time. The Solomon Family,” said the flier shared by the singer.

The development comes a few weeks after comedian Seyi Law lost his mum.
