Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, has mocked chairman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Ango Abdullahi.
KanyiDaily recalls that while speaking about the 2023 election, Abdullahi said that the North has become wiser and would not support any candidate like the one (Buhari) that had disappointed the entire country and indeed, the region twice.
He had said, “we will be more critical than all others over who wins our support. We bore scars from governance by one we substantially voted into power twice.
“Northern votes will make a major impact in the 2023 elections as well, but they will be cast by people who are now wiser and more discerning.”
Reacting on his Twitter page, Adesina reminded Abdullahi that he never voted for Buhari in the first place, noting that his prefered candidate was defeated during the election.
Adesina wrote, “But the Professor forgets. He never voted PMB. He had his candidate and they were both beaten black and blue.”
KanyiDaily recalls that a former House of Reps member, Abdulmumin Jibrin claimed that the NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso has inherited the 12 million northern votes controlled by President Muhammadu Buhari.
