Rapper, Ice Prince Arraigned On Three Counts

Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani, who was earlier arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for alleged abduction and assaulting a police officer, has been charged to a magistrate court.

Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the rapper was dragged before the Ajah Magistrate Court.

Charge Against Ice Prince Zamani 

He said the Ice Prince was arraigned on a three-count charge which includes assault, obstructing a policeman from carrying out its statutory duties, and abduction.

Kanyi Daily had earlier reported that Hundeyin said Ice Prince was stopped by 3am on Friday for driving without license plates.

According to him, the artiste after agreeing to be taken to the police station, thereafter, “abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river.”

The police spokesman had also revealed that the rapper was thereafter arrested and would be arraigned today, Friday.
