Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to social media to celebrate the birthday of his first wife, May Aligwe, despite their marital crisis after he took another wife.

Yul Edochie Celebrates May Aligwe On Her Birthday

KanyiDaily recalls that in April, Yul Edochie unveiled his second wife, Judy Austin Moghalu, and their baby despite still being married to his first wife, May Aligwe, for 17 years with four kids.

Edochie’s revelation triggered a lot of mixed reactions on social media, with his first wife, May, slamming him saying “May God judge you both.”

The actor have made several attempts to make peace with his first wife, but May has debunked any hope of reconciliation, stressing that her family and faith do not support polygamy.

Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, September 16, Yul penned a weet birthday message to May, praying  for God’s protection on her life and promised to lover her forever.

He wrote: “Happy birthday to my wife, my CEO extraordinaire QUEEN MAY YUL-EDOCHIE. I wish you many more beautiful and successful years. May God continue to guide you, bless you and protect you and bless you beyond imagination. Love you forever.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie had previously unfollowedMay  Aligwe on Instagram, months after she unfollowed him over his second marriage to actress, Judy Austin Muoghalu.
