The Kogi State House of Assembly was on Monday morning, gutted by fire.
The fire was said to have ripped through the roof of the assembly chamber, which caused extensive damage to the floor of the house.
Among the early callers at the assembly complex, including the Speaker of the house, Mathew Kolawole, and the state security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara.
The cause of the fire incident is not known at the time of filing this report.
