Migos Rapper, Takeoff Shot Dead ‘Over A Dice Game’ In Front Of His Uncle And Bandmate, Quavo

Takeoff, a member of hip-hop trio, Migos, has been shot dead ‘over a game of dice’ in front of his uncle and bandmate, Quavo, outside a bowling alley in Texas, United States.

Migos Rapper, Takeoff Killed

It was gathered that the 28-year-old was gunned down when a fight broke out over a dice game at a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling in downtown Houston.

Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, had joined his bandmate, Quavo, 31, who is also his uncle, for a game of dice before the shooting.

Police claimed 40 to 50 people were at the bowling alley when the shooting took place, explaining that two other victims were taken in private vehicles to nearby hospitals.

While police confirmed that Takeoff and Quavo were in attendance at the time of the shooting, the deceased’s uncle and bandmate was not injured.

Images from the scene reportedly show the rapper lying dead in a puddle of blood after being ‘shot in the head’ during the row.

Horrifying footage from the scene show Takeoff lying on the floor, while Quavo rushes to his side.

A group started to gather around the injured rapper and tried to move him, but quickly lowered him to the ground as Quavo screamed for help.

Video of the incident shows several women shouting to ‘get inside’, while another man can be heard saying ‘I’m scared for you bro’.

Takeoff grew up in Lawrenceville alongside fellow Migos members Quavo, his uncle, and Offset, his cousin.

The group formed in 2008 and released four albums, including the chart-topping ‘Culture’ and GRAMMY-nominated ‘Culture II’ in 2017 and 2018 respectively, which featured hits such as ‘Bad and Boujee’, Stir Fry’ and ‘MotorSport’.

The trio starred in short film Bando in 2014, and also appeared in an episode of Donald Glover’s FX comedy-drama Atlanta in 2016.

This year Takeoff released a collaborative album with Quavo called ‘Only Built for Infinity Links’, amid rumours of Migos breaking up, which the group denied.

He also had a successful solo rap career, releasing his debut album ‘The Last Rocket’ in 2018.

Takeoff’s death comes barely one month after legendary American rapper, Coolio, was found dead on the bathroom floor of a friend’s house in Los Angeles.
