Delta Police Arrest Kidnap Syndicate Mistaken As Policemen, Vigilantes, Recover Guns

The Delta State Police Command says it has arrested a kidnap syndicate operating on a sienna vehicle in the Ekpan and Warri areas of the state, kidnapping, and robbing unsuspecting persons who mistook them to be either policemen or vigilantes.

Spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe stated this in a short tweet on his handle on Sunday evening.

Edafe said their victims have also identified them.

According to him, guns were recovered from the suspects.

“We have arrested the syndicate that has been operating on a sienna vehicle in Ekpan and Warri,  kidnapping and robbing unsuspecting persons who mistook them to be either policemen or vigilantes,” Edafe wrote.

“They have been identified by their victims, the guns attached were recovered from them.”
