Nigerian Comedian, Peteru Dies Just Weeks After Burying His Father In Ibadan

Nigerian comedian, Tobi Owomoyela Nifemi, popularly known as Peteru Comedy, has died just a few weeks after the funeral of his father in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Peteru Comedy Is Dead

The skit maker, who only buried his father in November this year, was said to have passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Although the cause of Peteru’s death is yet to be made public, some of his colleagues have taken to social media to mourn his untimely demise.

One of his colleagues, Adams Adebayo has taken to his Instagram page to mourn the painful demise of Peteru who is said to be the only son of a family of seven.

Adebayo wrote; “I am bereaved to read the news of your demise my brother, You are one of the entertainer that is trying his best to put Ibadan on global map.

“Your role in comedy and entertainment industry is recognized but it’s sad to read you have went to rest with your maker.

“I pray that Almighty God be with your family and grant them fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May the good Lord rest your soul and grant you peaceful rest Champ. Rest on Peteru comedian. Adieu!”
