Sammie Okposo’s Wife, Ozioma Cries Uncontrollably During His Burial In Lagos [Video]

Late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has been buried amists tear from loved ones including his Ozioma, who was inconsolable as she poured sand into his grave at his funeral in Lagos.

KanyiDaily recalls that the musician passed away at the age of 51 on Friday, November 25, 2022, and his associates revealed that he died in his sleep.

A night of tributes was held for Okposo on December 13, at the La Madison Place, Oniru in Lagos. A service of songs was also held at House on the Rock Cathedral in Lagos On December 14.

He was was buried on Thursday, December 15, at a private cemetery in Ikoyi after a Church service officiated by senior pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin, and lead pastor at The L.O.G.I.C (Love Of God In Christ) Church Dr Flourish Peters.

A video circulationg on social media shows the moment his wife,Ozioma was weeping uncontrollably by his graveside after the coffin was lowered into the ground.

Mourners had to assist her when it was time to pour sand into the grave.

During the funeral, Ozioma also broke down in tears after a video of late Okposo was shown on the screen where he appreciated his wife, thanking her for loving him and for staying true to him even when he failed.
