Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun better known as AY Makun on Wednesday, gave an insight into why Nigeria will continue to produce generations of citizens who will be interested in leaving the country in large numbers, a phenomenon locally called, ‘Japa’.
AY, who stated this in a tweet on his handle, said Nigerians will continue to leave the country not because the land is without milk and honey.
He noted that they will continue to leave the country because of evil leaders who usually get into power to gather as much as they can gather for themselves, and then look on and do nothing
He tweeted, “Nigeria will continue to produce a ‘JAPA’ generation, not because our land is without milk and honey, but because of evil leaders who usually get into power to gather as much as they can gather for themselves, and then look on and do nothing.”
