Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was among some state governors who attended the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Garbai Elkanemi, in Maiduguri on Saturday.
The wedding is between the son of the Emir of Lafiya, Umar Sidi Bage, and the daughter of Shehu of Borno, Aisha Shehu Abubakar.
Pictures from the ceremony were posted on the Twitter handle villa updates.
The caption of the photos read, “Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN attends the Wedding Fatiha of the Shehu of Borno’s Daughter and the Emir of Lafia’s Son in Maiduguri, Borno State. 14th Jan 2023.”
