Election: Purge Hatred For Your Fellow Man, Woman From Your Heart – Kate Henshaw

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has called on Nigerians to purge hatred for their fellow man and woman from their hearts.

Kate Henshaw stated this in a tweet on her handle moments after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the postponement of the gubernatorial and state houses of assembly elections.

INEC had on Wednesday night, announced a shift of the elections from March 11 to March 18.

According to Kate Henshaw, Nigerians are connected through marriage, family, and work amongst others.

She wrote, “The elections I hear have been postponed for another week.

“As you lay your head to sleep tonight, purge hatred for your fellow man/woman from your heart.

“We are connected thru marriage, family, work, etc.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has averred that politicians are using tribe as an excuse to cover their evil.

The two celebrities’ comment comes on the heels of tribal discord that is currently dominating the Lagos Governorship race.
