Reports say the ICPC officials stormed the polling unit at exactly 9.35 am while some voters were casting their votes.
The reports did not, however, state the reason for the anti-graft agency’s officials storming the polling unit.
The polling unit is said to be devoid of the usual long queue experienced during the presidential and national assembly elections where the governor had to stay in the queue for several hours before casting his votes.
Election commenced early at 8.30 am in most polling units in the metropolis, unlike the last elections.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the nephew to the Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari has died in a fatal car accident.
