Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the threat issued to Nigerians by the Majority leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa.

Shehu Sani Reacts To Threat By Ado Doguwa

Kanyi Daily had earlier reported that Ado Doguwa who is a lawmaker from Kano state was captured in a video, which has now gone viral threatening to deal mercilessly with Nigerians who would not vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.

He said in the video which went viral on Tuesday.

He said, “It is either you vote for APC or we deal with you mercilessly.”

Reacting, Sani took to his official Twitter handle and described the threat “as unfortunate and a serious threat to peaceful elections.”

He called on the lawmaker to withdraw the statement.

He wrote, “The threat to deal with anyone who refuses to vote for the ruling APC in Kano is unfortunate and a serious threat to peaceful elections.

“I advice the ranking Honorable member involved, who is still a lawmaker for over two decades to withdraw this statement.”

Meanwhile, Shehu Sani had recently said the ultimate aim of those burning INEC offices is to sabotage next year’s general elections.
