Obi, in a birthday message on his Twitter handle on Sunday to celebrate Aridegbe, said he was happy that the celebrant is a socially conscious young person, who desires the best for Nigeria.
The former Anambra governor, therefore, appealed to him to stay in school, remain obidient (supporter), and continue to be peaceful and respectful.
He reiterated his commitment to creating a New Nigeria where in 10 years Aridegbe and his age-mates will join in voting freely for leaders of their choice, and be proud to be Nigerians.
Obi’s statement reads in part, “Please stay in school, remain obidient, and continue to be peaceful and respectful.
“Our commitment is to create a New Nigeria where in 10 years you and your age-mates will join in voting freely for leaders of your choice, and be proud to be Nigerians. God bless you always.”
In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani says no country will be free from the impunity of misuse of power once its leaders are not held accountable after power.
He also added that countries will not be free if these leaders are made to believe that they will be forgiven once they ask for forgiveness.
