Davido Reveals How His Late Son, Ifeanyi Inspired The Artwork On His Timeless Album [Video]

Nigerian superstar, Davido has revealed that his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, is the inspiration behind the art work on his recent studio album, “Timeless.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Davido’s three-year-old son, Ifeanyi lost his life in a swimming pool accident at their residence on Banana Island in Lagos on October 31, 2022.

During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Hip Hop Afternoon Show, “Cruz Show,” on Friday, the singer revealed that Ifeanyi loved nature, particularly elephants, which became his favorite animal.

Davido explained that his son’s profound love for nature played a significant role in shaping his album’s artwork, which has been receiving tremendous acclaim and dominating music charts.

He said, “The (Timeless) artwork is to represent a lot of things in my life. I lost my son last year. He loved nature, he loved trees, and his best animal was like an elephant.

‘‘If you look at the cover, you will see an elephant and see a bird on the left that represents him. Half of the songs, he was with me in the studio with me recording.”
