B-Red Narrates How He And Davido Sold 20 TVs From His Father’s House [Video]

Nigerian singer, B-Red has narrated how he and his superstar cousin, Davido, sold 20 television sets from the latter’s father’s house to fund their music careers.

B-Red, who is the son of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, disclosed this while appearing as a guest on the latest episode of Quincy Jonze’s Echoo Room podcast.

According to B-Red, when he and Davido were living abroad, they received an offer of assistance from Nigerian music mogul, Don Jazzy, who told them to relocate to Nigeria.

In a desperate attempt to gather funds, B-Red decided to visit the residence of Davido’s billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, and they sold 20 TVs from the house in order to generate the required money.

B-Red said their initial plan was to sell the cars owned by Davido’s father, but they discovered that the vehicles were not registered in their names. Despite their efforts, they could not sell the cars.

Additionally, they attempted to sell a Hyundai car that Davido’s father had purchased for him, but Davido had cleverly changed the ownership documents to his own name, foiling their plan.

While B-Red admitted to regretting his actions due to the disrespect involved, he also expressed a sense of happiness about what he had done with Davido.

He said, “Don Jazzy told us to come to Nigeria and he would support us after we hosted him for 5 hours. Me and Davido wanted to sell all the cars in the house, but we couldn’t because the cars weren’t in our names.

‘Davido’s father bought him Hyundai but luckily before we could sell it he had already changed the car documents to his name. We couldn’t sell off the cars but we sold up to 16 to 17s TV plus 3 TVs from the basement.

‘I busted Davido’s father’s house and we sold 20 TVs from his father’s house. I regret doing all these things but at the same time, I am happy. I regretted it because of the disrespect, but at the same time I am happy I did it”.
