Kyari shared this information during a conversation with State House correspondents on Wednesday, following a meeting with Tinubu.
Kyari emphasized that the plans would be implemented in the near future. He described the structural plan as an ongoing effort and an integral part of the President’s initiatives to alleviate the burden on citizens.
Furthermore, Kyari revealed that there are ongoing rehabilitation efforts taking place at the nation’s refinery, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
IPMAN President Affirms Readiness to Introduce Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as an Alternative Automotive Fuel
Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo, the national president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), recently stated that the association is 90% prepared to introduce Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a viable alternative to conventional petrol. It is expected that CNG will be sold at a price ranging from N100 to N110 per liter before the end of June.
Okoronkwo, who confirmed this during an appearance on Channels Television’s Business Morning program on Monday, emphasized that CNG would serve as a cost-effective substitute for petrol.
Explaining further, Okoronkwo expressed his belief that the adoption of CNG would help reduce energy costs within the country. He started;
“We are very close to rolling out this initiative, and it will open up numerous possibilities.”
