A staunch supporter of Tinubu, Dokubo arrived at the villa around 11:00 am after which he went into a closed-door session with the President.
It is unclear what the reason behind the meeting is, recall that the ex-agitator had three weeks ago, organised Niger Delta youths to attend the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja.
On Thursday, Dokubo had asked Nigerians to hold him accountable if the president’s administration fails.
He spoke on the impact of fuel subsidy removal and argued that former presidents, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari failed to do what Tinubu did in the past weeks of his government.
He said: “If Ahmed Bola Tinubu fails, hold me responsible. I am unapologetic.
“I have known him since 1992 and I know what he stands for, and can stand in the gap between him and the people and say this.
“This is a step my brother Goodluck failed to take when he had the opportunity. The same step Buhari could not take and Tinubu took it from his first day at the office.”
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has explained the reason behind his visit to President Bola Tinubu at the State House on Thursday.
Sanusi, who is also a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) arrived the villa at some minutes past 5:00 pm and had a meeting with the president.
