“We Both Have Daughters, Lets See What Life Throws At Them” – Yvonne Nelson Replies Sarkodie

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has tackled rapper Sarkodie after he denied allegations that he convinced her to do an abortion when she got pregnant for him.

KanyiDaily recalls that the actress recently published a book, titled “I am not Yvonne Nelson,” in which she delves into her life as an entertainer, shedding light on her past relationships within the industry.

On pages 88 to 95 of the book, Yvonne Nelson claimed that Sarkodie impregnated her while they were dating in 2010, but vehemently opposed keeping the child.

She narrated how she aborted the pregnancy because she is fatherless and did not expect to give birth to a child whose father had refused to accept responsibility.

Reacting to the allegations in a track titled “Try Me, Sarkodie dismissed Yvonne Nelson’s claims, stressing that he wasn’t the one that solely called for the abortion.

The rapper said he actually urged her to keep the baby, despite not being prepared to be a father at that time, but she decided to have an abortion because she wanted to complete school.

Sarkodie urged Yvonne Nelson to take the blame because “nobody is the cause of your bad choice in life”, and “stop the personal attacks.”

Reacting on her Twitter page, Yvonne Nelson countered Sarkodie’s claims and labeled them as lies, emphasizing the importance of respecting women.

Referring to her book, the actress mentioned how she had detailed Sarkodie’s role in her pregnancy and the pressure he exerted on her to have an abortion.

She dismissed his claim that she was desperate to abort because she needed to complete school, stating that she had already finished university when she became pregnant.

Ther actress questioned whether Sarkodie would have been willing to let her keep the pregnancy while he was in a serious relationship with another woman who eventually became his wife.

She dragged their daughters into their beef and dismissed his use of street lines, stressing that the truth would ultimately prevail and that the younger generation would learn from it.

Yvonne Nelson wrote: “Insults wont work michael. Respect womanhood , Im happy the world gets to see how you are playing this and the real you. Young women get to learn from this. You would get the applause for a rap.still doesn’t change the TRUTH.

In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldn’t wait for me to get rid of it. How you DROVE me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them. #triedyou

Michael , you claim I was desperate to abort because I needed to complete school. In 2010 when I became pregnant, I had completed the university. Anybody can verify this. I wasn’t in school and you know it. If you want to lie, find an logical lie. #youspittinglies

And would you have readily agreed for me to keep a pregnancy when you were in a serious relationship with another lady who would become your wife? Your street line is played out.. #thetruthsetsyoufree #theyouthislearning.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Yvonne Nelson also spoke on her failed relationship with Iyanya, shedding light on his alleged unfaithfulness involving Tonto Dikeh and other female members of his crew.
