Justice Peter Mallong of the Federal High Court is dead.

Justice Peter Mallong Cause Of Death

Justice Mallong died on Sunday after a brief illness.

His death was confirmed on Monday by the Chief Registrar, Federal High Court of Nigeria, Hassan Sulaiman.

He said, “Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a judge of the Federal High Court, passed away on July 30, 2023, unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja. We will miss him more than words can express.

“Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.”

The demise of Peter Mallong coincided with the death of Justice Chima Centus Nweze of the Supreme Court.

Kanyi Daily reported that Justice Nweze, aged 64, reportedly passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

However, the Supreme Court is yet to officially confirm his demise at the time of compiling this report.
