Veteran Nigerian rapper, Michael Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman has lost his father.

He disclosed this in a post on his official Instagram handle on Wednesday.

The rapper did not give full details of the cause of the death.

Sharing the sad news, Ruggedman simply wrote, “I don’t even know how I feel or what to feel. Rip Dad.”

Ruggedman, fondly called Ruggedy Baba, is one of Nigeria’s greatest rappers whose rap has earned global recognition.

He is arguably the first Nigerian rapper in Nigeria to rap in Pidgin English, and that gave him his diversity.

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that Ejikeme Mmesoma, the student who was accused by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) of forging her UTME result, has said the three-year ban instituted against her by the board is “not fair.”
