Obi, who clocked 62 years of age on Wednesday, said two days ago, that he will not be celebrating his birthday due to the alarming state of insecurity in the country.
The former Anambra governor who noted that he would prefer to celebrate his birthday in a safe and productive country, urged his supporters to join him in acts of charity or visit Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps to contribute to schools and hospitals.
Atiku, while celebrating Obi on his birthday, described him as a “respected leader.”
According to him, the former Anambra governor’s dedication to service and growth continues to inspire.
He wished Peter Obi well and many more years of good health and vitality.
Recall that Obi served as the running mate to Atiku in the 2019 general election under the platform of the PDP.
