Why I Don’t Want To Work With Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy – Speed Darlington [Video]

Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington has revealed why he would not collaborate with Afrobeats heavyweights such as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.

During a recent interview with Hip TV, Speed Darlington said he has no interest in working with Davido, WizKid, and Burna Boy due to a perceived disparity in their respective levels of success.

The musician explained that he prefers to avoid a scenario where he achieves great fame and one of these artists claims credit for his rise to stardom.

He believes that he has already established himself as a significant presence in the Nigerian social media landscape and does not require collaborations with any of them to achieve success.

“I wouldn’t want to take such a risk. I’ll only do songs with people whom I believe are on my level. I don’t want to do a song with Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido. I’m not interested.

“Tomorrow it becomes ‘we made you’. You didn’t make me, I was trending before you met me,” Speed Darlington said.
